London Day 2

We started the day at Leicester Square.  We found the ticket discount booth and bought tickets for the musical “Oliver” for that evening.  Then we wandered down through Piccadilly Circus to Trafalgar Square.

St. Martin in the Fields Church in Trafalgar Square.

Supposedly Handel played on this organ at St. Martin in the Fields.

We then spent the afternoon in the Victoria & Albert Museum.  It was huge!  We could only see a small part of the collection.

We ended the day with dinner in Chinatown and “Oliver” the musical… Food, glorious food!

London Day 1

Okay friends, I know I mentioned some London pictures long time ago.  We took tons of pictures on that trip, so I decided to post pictures day by day.

We arrived London in the early afternoon, so we still had time to do some sightseeing before the end of the day.  We rode the tube to Westminster Pier and took a Thames River boat tour to Greenwich.

Here’s the Tower Bridge and the HMS Belfast.

I loved the British English!  But what is a “humped pelican”?

Our first British meal!  By the way, I take a lot of food pictures, like most Asians do.

Busy summer

We’re still alive!  Sorry it’s been a while since our last post.  Mark and I have been in the US (Virginia) since end of July for some training.  On our way back to the US we stayed in London for a week.  It was a wonderful vacation!  We LOVE London!  We took tons of pictures.  I hope to post pictures from that trip soon.  But for now here’s Tower of London to whet your appetite:
